25.3.2019 Stuttgart. New vehicle segment opened With the world premiere of the Cayenne coupe, Porsche advanced, the third Generation of its successful SUV range. The Cayenne coupe is for the market introduction in two powerful engine options available: A six-cylinder turbo engine with 250 kW (340 HP), with the Standard sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 6.0 seconds, and a four-litre V8 engine with Biturbo charging in the range-topping Cayenne Turbo coupe, which goes with 404 kW (550 HP) and an acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds at the Start.

The Cayenne is a success story in the world

Since the introduction of the first Cayenne in 2002, the model comes to customers around the world very well. More than 864.200 vehicles have been delivered – an average of more than 50,000 cars per year. In 2018, the model with around 71.500 deliveries what in the world, behind the Macan. Most of the vehicles were sold to customers in China and Europe.

In what regions and groups of buyers for the Cayenne aims Coupé?

The Cayenne Coupé is a world conqueror. It is the same for all regions are equally attractive. We talk to the customers, who place special emphasis on the sporty genes of the Cayenne. The Porsche existing and new customers with high brand commitment and an expressive Lifestyle. The Segment of the SUV-coupé is not new – but we give the car with the typical Porsche Design DNA with a character all of its own. The athletic body shape naturally fits in particularly well with the Porsche brand.

In a worldwide perspective: Who are the customers of Porsche?

Our customers maintain a very unique and differentiated way of Life. There is not THE Porsche customer, or THE Porsche customers. That is why it is also a Maxim for us to treat each customer individually. At the same time, there are characteristics shared by all our customers. For this purpose, a pursuit of performance, personal development and the Exceptional, as well as the success you achieve with this setting – so a certain amount of forward thrust. Customer feedback influences our product choices, our customers are very engaged. We receive more than 300,000 feedback, suggestions and requests per year. You will be integrated in the development process of a new vehicle. In addition, we introduce our product ideas to customers and potential customers. A good example is the current Cayenne is In development, we have taken into account a lot of feedback to its predecessor.
