30.4.2019. Hubert Aiwanger, Bavaria’s Minister of state for economic, land development and energy and Deputy Prime Minister, yesterday paid a visit to the Audi headquarters in Ingolstadt.
Bram Schot, Chairman of the Board of AUDI AG, welcomed the Minister, together with Alexander Seitz, member of the Board of Finance, China law, with Wendelin Göbel, member of the Board, staff, and organization, as well as with the General works Council Chairman Peter Mosch.
The Minister of economy informed about electric mobility and the technologies of the future, as well as synthetic fuels.
“We need sustainable models. Electric mobility is a pillar, but not the only one. E-cars can not cover all the requirements. Especially for long distances and in the country natural gas or hydrogen may be used as an alternative fuel is not neglected,“ Aiwanger.
In a short test drive, Hubert Aiwanger, tested the new Audi e-tron, the first pure electric series-produced car from Audi. In the case of a Factory tour, the Minister of state got a glimpse of the highly modern automobile production at AUDI AG.
