20.5.2019. With a sovereign victory of René Rast on Sunday and a strong Comeback of Jamie Green Audi Sport Team Rosberg has taken in Zolder (Belgium) take the lead in the team standings of the DTM.
“It used to be the basis of an incredibly tough weekend,” said team boss Arno. “Our guys have worked like crazy. René what is once again incredible. But at least as delighted that Jamie is back.“
Green had last won in October 2017, a DTM-race, and since then, not a podium result, achieved more. According to the sixth place in the first race on Saturday it succeeded to the British on Sunday, to displace in the final round of the BMW-Pilot Sheldon van der Linde in third place. “Starting from grid position nine, the result was a very pleasant Surprise,” said Green. “After the difficult last season, the Podium is doing very well.”
René Rast secured on both days, a place in the first row of the grid in Zolder, a total of four additional points. On Saturday, just 42 thousandths of a second to Pole Position was not possible for him, on Sunday even, only six.
