20.8.2019. From Dresden to Leipzig: 200 vehicles and thousands of spectators along the 580-Kilometer-long route can be expected in the case of the Volkswagen-supported Sachsen Classic in 2019.
Volkswagen Classic comes with five cars: Karmann Ghia TC 145 (1970), Karmann Ghia type 14 (1974), SP 2 (1974), Scirocco I, SL (1981) and Passat B2 CL formula E (1983).
Saxony has a long automotive tradition. The Volkswagen group has since the 1990s in the free state at the locations in Zwickau, Chemnitz, Dresden and Leipzig, as well as of the ŠKODA brand in the neighbouring Czech Republic. The Sachsen Classic rally to support Volkswagen from the beginning.
The participants and spectators of this event, which is one of many classic cars-friends to the compulsory program, large “Auto-cinema”: Probably no other historical rally so many enthusiastic spectators from all over Germany attracted to the range and offers a multi-faceted field.
