The ŠKODA AUTO DigiLab developed the App after a successful pilot phase, starting immediately, for Prague available free of charge. To start, it combines the mobility services of the Prague transport network DPP U-Bahn, Bus, tram and ferry – as well as the E-Bike Sharing ,free bike and Ride Hailing service ,Liftago‘. The ŠKODA AUTO DigiLab is working on the Integration of additional Services such as Parking recommendations. Once the user has entered Start and finish its Tour, calculate ,city, the move‘ the best Route and suggest the suitable means of transport.
Andre Wehner, Chief Digital Officer of ŠKODA AUTO, welcomes the launch of the new inter-modal App: “ŠKODA AUTO extended its range of clever new mobility services consistently. ‘City move’ puts many people for the first time in the position to choose for each Route in the city, the best transport option. Users of the App have literally the urban mobility diversity in their Hand.“
Jarmila Plachá, Director of ŠKODA AUTO DigiLab, adds: “Our App ‘city move’ combines numerous Services in one application and makes life in the city easier and more enjoyable. And this is only the beginning – in the coming months for more tailor-made services will be added.“
To free Download for the Android or iOS operating system, the User only needs an Account to be able to all of the Services book. E-Bikes will be paid directly by escrow, credit card, taxi rides in the vehicle and the SMS Tickets for mass transit billed through the phone bill.
