28.3.2019 Munich. After the long winter break is in a fever Niklas Krütten (16, Trier) the season start of the ADAC formula 4.
“I can’t wait to get going again,” says the 16-Year-old with a view to the start of the fifth season of the high-speed school of the ADAC of 26. to 28. April in Oschersleben. Just under four weeks must be patient Krütten, but already the funding of the pilot of the ADAC sports Foundation, is counting the days: “I am extremely happy. It tingles, it is time!“
Krütten, had to give last year in the rookie championship just David Schumacher (17, Bergheim, U. S. Racing – CHRS), so in this season. “Our goal is to win the championship,” says the Trier self-consciously. The key to this? “Consistency and nerves of steel!”
Krütten is now to switch from Mücke Motorsport to the Dutch team Van Amersfoort Racing. There he forms with the Israeli Ido Cohen (17) and the Norwegian Dennis Hauger (16) the trio of drivers. Everything is new for Krütten: The environment, the language, the processes. “This is the next step,” he says: “The Team and I strive to Win. VAR is very success-oriented and professional. I like that, that suits me. I would like to learn, benefit, and me.“
The young driver knows, however, that it depends not only on the driver’s performance on the track, but also on mental strength. Here, of all places, the lost Rookie to help duel from the previous year, with the David Schumacher, the son of Ralf Schumacher. “I’m still become nervous stronger in the fight,” he says Krütten: “I have learned to always get back up and keep going. I would like to show everyone what I can do!“
And Krütten invested a lot of. After school, it is for the Trier of the Sport, several times a year he wants to travel in addition to Van Amersfoort in the Netherlands. “There I am then, a few days on the Simulator,” he says Krütten, the “fit so long as the notes” from his school for running mine-free. “Then I must, therefore, between Training and racing time math or Bio cramming.”
Above all, the dream of professional racing. Of course, the formula 1 is the goal, Krütten is aware of the fact that the way to the top is rocky. “I’m not finally determined. My goal is to earn a day, with Motorsport money,“ he says. The championship title in the ADAC formula 4 would be to write a very good application, white Krütten: “I will give everything for my dream work hard.”
