12.4.2019. In the readers ‘ choice “all-wheel drive car of the year 2019” Audi has celebrated a great success: The models Q2, Q5, A6 allroad quattro* and the purely electric-powered Audi e-tron won in their respective class. Thus, Audi was the most successful brand in the competition.
“The four-fold victory fills us with great joy, because it confirms our many years of quattro expertise,” said Hans-Joachim Rothenpieler, Audi Board member for Technical development. “We are especially proud of the award for the Audi e-tron. With our all-electric SUV, we have transferred to the four-wheel drive of the electric age, and thus set new standards in Handling, traction and driving safety.“
In the readers ‘ choice “all-wheel drive car of the year in 2019,” noted the editors of “AUTO Bild Allrad”, a total of 211 models from 43 brands in ten categories to choose from.
