6.5.2019. For Audi Sport Team Rosberg for a weekend, it seemed to be Forgotten. But thanks to a daring strategy and a strong driving performance, René Rast at the DTM repeated-kick-off at the Hockenheimring on Sunday, the first victory of the new Audi RS 5 DTM.

“We had identified the strategy before,” says team boss Arno Zensen. “René is in the Indy-Restart at the last minute in the starting line-up, and then just an incredible race. On Saturday, he was together with Marco Wittmann in a world of their own. A pity that it has not because it works, otherwise it would have been across the seasons, the seventh and the eighth victory in a row.“
Team-mate Jamie Green lost on Saturday, the Chance for points by a clutch problem. “On Sunday we were much stronger. I started from position seven and in the race, despite a drive-through penalty on nine to the front,” says Green, whose race on Sunday so Arno much joy: “Jamie is at it again Zensen. The last season is done and dusted. We have two irons in the fire, so I’m happy.“
