“Sometimes in motorsports, a weekend where things just don’t work exactly how you want it. And this rally was one of them. We will focus on the future. As the First on the route to a fifth place would have been realistic, my mistakes have cost us a few points. But the championship is still incredibly tight. We will try to make it better.“

“This was not the result we had hoped for. My problem on Friday have affected the outcome of the weekend. Due to our starting position, we could not show our potential. On these routes, on which the Grip with each vehicle improved, it what up impossible ground. So, we had taken on Saturday morning, a wrong choice of tires. But at least we came to the finish.“

Pierre Budar, Team Principal, Citroën Racing

“We knew it would be on these routes for Sébastien and Julien as the first Starter hard. We can’t blame them for the error. Both have made on the Power Stage, a great Job and a real fighting spirit and proved. Esapekka and Janne had a disappointing first stage, which has affected the Rest of the rally out. They have managed, however, to cope with the frustration, to collect more miles with the C3 WRC, and to come to the finish.“
