Renault group in Germany in the fast Lane

4.7.2019. The Renault group departs in Germany with the brands Renault, Dacia and Alpine more in the fast Lane. In the first of the year, registrations were up by 3.8 percent, or 4,600 on 126.700 passenger Cars and light Nutzfahrzeuge1 (first half of 2018: 122.100 vehicles) helped.

Renault group: 126.700 approvals; an increase of 4,600 units; 6,32% of the market share

Overall, the Renault group achieved in the first six months, with the brands Renault, Dacia and Alpine 126.700 approvals (passenger Cars and light commercial vehicles up to 5 tons) – an increase of 3.8 percent. The market share rose at 6.32 per cent (first half of 2018: 122.100 units; 6,18 percent market share). Passenger Car registrations increased by 1.7 percent to 109.800 units (first half-year of 2018: 108.000). The passenger Car market share rose to 5.94 per cent (5.87 per cent). In the case of the light commercial vehicles Renault and Dacia registered an increase of 19.9 percent to 16,900 approvals (first half of 2018: 14.100 units).

Brand Renault: 83.400 Approvals, 4,16% Of The Market Share

The Renault brand sold from January to June 83.400 passenger Cars and light commercial vehicles (first half of 2018: 81.400 approvals). The market share rose to 4.16 percent to 4.12 percent in the comparable prior-year period.

In the case of Car registrations of the brand 68.700 recorded approvals. Moreover, Renault sold 14.600 light commercial vehicles (12.700), which are 15.3 percent more than in the first half of 2018. The commercial vehicle market share of Renault is located at the end of June at 9.49 percent (first half of 2018: 9,21 percent).

Dacia: 43.100 approvals; an increase of 6.2 percent; 2.15 per cent market share

More successful the Dacia brand in the first half of the year. Dacia increased its approvals to 6.2 percent on 43.100 passenger Cars and light commercial vehicles (first half of 2018: 40.600). The sales are divided into 40.800 Car (plus 4.2 percent) and 2,300 light-duty vehicles (plus 61.7 percent). The Dacia’s market share rose to 2.15 percent (2.05 percent).

235 new registrations for new Alpine A110

The new Alpine A110 listed approvals in the first half of 235. After the Relaunch of the brand with the limited-edition “Première Edition” are currently the versions “Pure” and “Légende” of the sports car available in the trade. In October 2019, with an even sportier special edition with 292 HP, tighter suspension tuning and exclusive interior with the Alpine A110S.
