9.7.2019. The Volkswagen group has awarded on the last Thursday of the Porsche visitor centre in Leipzig to its best suppliers with the “Volkswagen Group Award in 2019”. For this year’s 17. Awards were travelled 200 guests from 19 countries.
Welcome, Dr. Stefan Sommer, Board member for component and procurement said: “The Group Award we make to the Celebration and recognition of your achievements and your commitment. Today, the best 130 companies out of a total of more than 40,000 suppliers are represented here. We would like to thank you and your highly motivated employees for the successful cooperation.“
The award was awarded in six categories, which are the main topics of the ongoing Transformation of the Volkswagen group. The individual awards were presented by the category sponsor from the management Board of the group and of the brands Volkswagen and Volkswagen component.
