29.8.2019. Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport has today announced that the Team has pulled its Option to Valtteri Bottas for the formula 1 season 2020.
Valtteri Bottas thrust in the year 2017, Mercedes-Benz AMG Petronas Motorsport and played in the last two seasons, respectively, have a crucial role in winning the constructors ‘ world championship.
The 30-year-old Finn is in the Moment, with 188 points and is in second place in the drivers ‘ standings. During his two and a half years with the Team, he scored five victories and ten Pole Positions.
Valtteri Bottas:

It is my goal to become a formula 1 world champion. Based on my experiences with the Team, I am convinced that Mercedes is the best Option for me to achieve this goal, in the season 2020.
This season, nine races still to go and I am determined to improve myself in each of them. My focus is now on the Spa, and this weekend, together with the Team in a strong performance to deliver.“
