Quotes before the race at Laguna Seca:
Jens Marquardt (BMW Motorsport Director):

“Laguna, Sebring, now Seca: We continue our tour of America. The BMW M8 GTE, we have delighted in mid-March, the Fans at Sebring, and now with the BMW M6 GT3 to another legendary track in North America. We want to try in Laguna Seca back to top fighting places like we have done in the GT-race in the past few months, with many podiums and race wins very well.“

Martin Tomczyk (#42 BMW M6 GT3, BMW Team Schnitzer):

“I am really looking forward to my return to Laguna Seca. The track is great to drive, and I have great memories of my class win with the BMW M6, racing in the IMSA season in 2017. I think I’m going to find me quickly. The combination of BMW Team Schnitzer, BMW M6 GT3 and drivers, we Mostert – Augusto Farfus, Chaz, and me – has already proved in the season opener in Bathurst, that it is competitive. I hope that we will be able to do in Laguna Seca.“

Mikkel Jensen (#34 BMW M6 GT3 Walkenhorst Motorsport):

“For me, it is the first Time that I am in the USA, so I’m excited and am really looking forward to the new experience. Traveling in for me, so far, unknown lands, and the legendary race tracks where I can drive with the BMW M6 GT3, make the stakes in the Intercontinental GT Challenge for me to special events. I don’t know the track at Laguna Seca, of course, of the number of virtual rounds. Now I’m very curious as to how it feels in reality.“
