Girls‘ Day, 2019 in the case of Opel in Rüsselsheim

28.3.2019 Rüsselsheim. Opel has for many years supported the goal of winning women for the so-called MINT-professions (mathematics, Informatics, natural Sciences, technology), and opened, therefore, the nationwide “Girls‘ Day” again the gates.

In Rüsselsheim, around 200 students of communication-in-chief Harald Hamprecht and the head of training Carsten breast were welcomed. Students between the ages of 12 and 17 years had the opportunity, at the company’s headquarters in Rüsselsheim, Germany, the technical professions around the car. Technology and engineering explained the inner works of Opel, together with other experts, such as, for example, a Motor, and it is checked.

In the training, the students met with Opel-apprentices and tested on the classic bench. At the Service Workshop, it was a tire and oil change, but also the use of electronics for service tests. A visit to the Opel Insignia production rounded off the program.
