“e Prototype”: Honda at the Milan Design Week 2019

9.4.2019 Frankfurt am Main/Milan. Honda is represented this year for the first time on the world’s largest design fair, the Milan Design Week. The Highlight of the today opened “Honda experience – Casa-Connessa Tortona” is the prototype of the new electric vehicle from Honda, the celebrated in early March at the Geneva motor show world premiere.

The exclusive appearance of Honda in the Boutique “Alysi – The Garden House” in the district of Tortona. When you Enter the exhibition space, the visitors are part of a special visual and acoustic event. In the main room of the exhibition, Honda continues the “e Prototype” under a glass roof in varying degrees of natural light in the scene.

In the middle of the exhibition space is an architectural tree sculpture was made from natural material. It’s a symbol for the connection between the Honda “e Prototype” and its surroundings.

Cooperation in the fields of furniture design and photography

Honda has developed together with the Italian photographer, so at the exhibition, which was inspired by the design language of Honda’s “e Prototype”. The Team of Sara Mautone uses to display his Work in different projection techniques.

The unique interior design of the “e Prototype” comes in a Diorama. This area is complemented by pieces of furniture of the Italian company Danord of Modena, which has specialized, under the leadership of its founder, Francesca Gatti to the Curate of Scandinavian-style furniture from the middle of the last century, as well as in modern Design.

The “Honda experience – Casa-Connessa Tortona” will be held in the district of Tortona, close to the railway station of Porta Genova. The exhibition is open from 9. to 14. April between 10 and 21 o’clock.
