Audi A7 Sportback is “the 2019 World Luxury Car”

18.4.2019. The Audi A7 Sportback* is “the 2019 World Luxury Car”. With the victory, the A7 Sportback follows the Audi A8* who won the prize last year. The award ceremony took place yesterday at the New York Auto Show.

With its decision, the 86 of the World Car jury members from 24 countries have a credit rating of the Audi A7 Sportback as the best new luxury automobiles on the world market. For Audi, this is the tenth victory in the World Car category.

“It is a special honour for Audi to win the ‘World Luxury Car award for the second Time in a row,” said Hans-Joachim Rothenpieler, member of the Board for Technical development of AUDI AG.

“We are proud of this award because it stands for the ability of Audi to develop leading premium cars in different segment.”
