Our factory Motorsport program is based on two pillars: The formula E is the electric mobility, the DTM is a modern, highly efficient internal combustion engines, as they come in Class 1, starting in 2019. As of right now, Audi wants to sell in the foreseeable future, vehicles with internal combustion engines with electric drive. Therefore, a series with modern internal combustion engines makes a lot of sense. In the DTM we use a 2.0 TFSI engine. This motor concept is at the Audi world in many series models and power levels in use, and an important pillar to reduce fleet emissions.

How intense is the engine for the DTM of the exchange between Motorsport and series, the Audi is traditionally very important is the new turbo?

For us, this was a crucial reason why we have made for the turbo engine in the DTM.
