The beginning of the year, for the first time presented to LEAF e+ increases the attractiveness of the stromer, thanks to powerful drive and reach. All versions – the 40-kWh-battery – are now equipped as standard with the new Nissan connect infotainment system, which allows via Apple CarPlay® and Android auto® a contemporary Smartphone integration. The service, TomTom Traffic, in addition, offers improved route guidance with real-time traffic data and more accurate travel times. With the “Door-to-Door Navigation” is planned the journey in advance on the Smartphone and then automatically by the on-Board Navi System.
A comprehensive Upgrade of the Nissan connect App for Google Android and Apple iOS experiences. The EV-drivers popular App shines in a completely new Layout, it includes useful remote features such as remote control of the air-conditioning for pre-cooling or-heating the interior of the vehicle and shows on demand, interesting vehicle data, including information about the current battery or charging status.
Also new is a range of design options: The customers have a choice of ten exterior colors. In addition to Arctic Solid White and Solid Red there are Metallic finishes, Spring, Cloud, Black, Blue, Blade Silver, Gun, Magnetic, Red, and Bronze. White Nissan offers the LEAF in a Pearl finish. Seven-two-color-finishes – usually with a black A-pillar, black roof and black mirrors, but in White Pearl with blue roof, round off the offer.
The 40-kWh LEAF impressed by performance and efficiency. The LEAF e+ is a stronger powertrain, more all-round handling characteristics and 40 percent more Reichweite1+2 a. The 62-kWh battery has a 25 percent higher energy density and a 55 percent increase in storage capacity. In conjunction with the 160 kW/217 HP electric motor of the LEAF e+ with a charge in the combined cycle for up to 385 miles.
Through innovative Design and clever engineering of high-performance battery pack consists of 288 cells instead of 192 cells in the 40-kWh variant.
