16.7.2019. After Audi’s successful season highlight on the norisring, the next treat is waiting for the DTM Fans: 20./21. July starts the popular touring car racing series for the first Time on the famous TT Circuit in Assen, Netherlands.
“Assen is primarily as a motorcycle track,” said Audi Motorsport boss Dieter Gass. “We are looking forward to the DTM Premiere there. The track layout promises spectacular racing. The ticket sales look promising, so Assen is another Highlight on the DTM calendar.“
Assen is located in the Dutch province of Drenthe, only around 50 kilometres from the German border. The track is 4.555 kilometres long and has its own characteristics. “The track is very wide with many fast corners,” says Robin Frijns has denied the only one of the Audi drivers in Assen, a race. “That was in formula Renault 2.0, and quite a while ago.
